Hills of Hope Ministries, hereinafter referred to as HOHM, is a community-based and surrounding areas outreach ministry / organization committed to helping provide adequate temporary housing and nutrition to adults/families (particularly women) who have been affected by domestic violence/abuse, natural disaster, and unforeseen circumstances. Our primary focus is to enrich the lives and wellness of these individuals via innovative counseling and enrichment, preparation/vocational skills, and spiritual development. Additionally, our mission is to assist individuals/families through counseling sessions in efforts to prepare and teach individuals/families self-sufficiency skills needed to function in society, basic skills needed to obtain/retain employment, as needed; offer empowerment classes to teach/reiterate strategic decisions, insight, and accountability; as well as encourage spiritual sustenance or development to enhance self-identity.
